What if you loved yourself completely?
What if you loved yourself completely?
If you were totally in love with yourself?
How would your life feel different right now?
How much energy would you save not having to shame yourself or hide?
What’s one thing that you struggle to love about yourself?
Name it and acknowledge it.
Then make it your business to see how it makes you part of who you are and learn to love it.
In small tiny ways, each day love it just a little bit more.
You couldn’t possibly be you without it.
Even if it’s a behavior you’re seeking to change or an identity that you want to shed.
It still deserves your love, because it’s still you.
My favorite thing about my work is witnessing clients falling in love with themselves.
The smile that emerges when they reconnect with the part of themselves that they’ve been trying to out run.
I spent a lot of my life thinking that I was broken.
That if I could just act the right ways, maybe no one would notice.
I’m loud and talk too much when I’m excited.
My feelings are so freaking big.
I cry all the time.
I easily feel tender and scared and it scares me to feel so vulnerable.
I’m wildly intuitive and not terribly risk averse, and I worry this makes me seem reckless or too impulsive…
so many things I’ve tried to hide or pretend or dull down.
But these things are actually the recipe for what makes me, me.
Without them I’m just a paper cut out of a human, there’s no magic!
We all have so many things about us that we think make us broken or weird, or that will keep us from fitting in.
But the truth is those things are what makes you who you are.
They’re what make people love you the most!
They’re the special sauce.
The magic.
The sparkle.
Those parts of you are YOU.
Claim them!
Love them!
Embody them
You deserve it!
with love + solidarity,
Victoria
