About Jen Fry & Victoria Farris
Jen Fry | Jen Fry Talks
JenFryTalks is a social justice education firm that uses conversation to educate and empower those within athletics through an anti-racist lens on issues of race, inclusion, intersectionality, diversity, and equity. We facilitate a conversation with small and large groups, athletic departments, athletic teams, staff, administrations, schools, affinity groups, identity groups, and much more. We use our antiracist lens to advise on best practices that will create equitable searches, hiring, onboarding practices, methods of retaining staff, retaining student-athletes, supporting student-athletes, staff and coaches, and community building. en Fry is a veteran coach with over 15 years of experience at the collegiate level with coaching stints at Elon University, University of Illinois - 2011 National Runner-up, Washington State University, and Norfolk State University. Lastly, she is working on her PhD in Geography at the Michigan State University. Go Green.
Dr. Victoria Farris | Farris Consulting
Victoria is a native New Yorker on a mission to encourage a more inclusive world. She is a disrupter, a truth-teller, a justice seeker, an educator, a mother, and an activist. Her research focuses on understanding, from the perspectives of folks of color, what white people can do to disrupt and dismantle systemic racism, and Victoria has developed a framework for effective allyship that outlines an action-based guide for disrupting racism. Victoria is a dedicated leader and a skilled problem solver with a knack for working strategically across teams to drive change. She launched Farris Consulting in 2017 with the goal of supporting workspaces to be more inclusive and engaging white folks, and those with white privilege, to disrupt racism and all forms of oppression. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marist College, a Master’s in higher education and student affairs from the University of Connecticut, and a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania.
What Others Are Saying:
Jen Fry and Victoria Farris brought so much knowledge to the training. They created a space (even virtually) where all of the participants could engage in the material. Their facilitation felt conversational while still being clear that they had expertise and knowledge to share.

Where We’ve Been:
Having Jen and Victoria kick off our beginning of the year with our student-athletes and staff was a great way to set the tone for the type of inclusion we want to practice at UNCG. They were engaging & fun while delivering information that can be uncomfortable. They used examples backed up by research and even found information that directly related to our region in Greensboro and North Carolina. This made their presentation even more relevant to our daily conversations. It was an impactful presentation that will not be forgotten.
Kristin Rusboldt, Associate Athletic Director, UNC Greensboro
Jen Fry & Victoria Farris are a phenomenal combo from providing personalized insight, authentic experience sharing and tangible takeaways for any athletic department to implement immediately. They are the standard of how to create an inclusive anti-racist culture in college athletics or any space for that matter.
