Let It Break
One of the absolute hardest lessons that I’ve learned so far in this life. The one that I have resisted time and time again, that I still forget is my friend.
That sometimes we just have to let it break.
If nothing ever dies, there’s no room for new life.
Just like the leaves fall from the trees every Fall.
And my houseplants need grooming and trimming every winter.
Then the spring comes and we are surrounded by abundant new life.
The same is true for us.
Sometimes we have to let it break.
To shed.
To allow the release. The sunset.
So that tomorrow (or soon!) we can rise again.
So we can birth new identities and ideas and iterations of who we are.
So we can make space for more. For better. For new and different.
Surrendering and letting it break can be hard.
It often requires grieving, which we so often avoid! But more than that, it reminds us of how little control we truly have. It’s humbling in the deepest of ways.
But when we surrender and let it break is when we can truly embody our wholeness. It’s how we find our way back home to ourselves. And how we make room for everything we’ve ever desired.
What in your life is ready to be let go of right now?
What identity or belief system or pattern is ready to break so that something new can emerge?
Ask yourself those very questions and trust your response.
You’ll know.
And if you keep listening you’ll know exactly how to do it.
And if you’re ready to receive support to fully emerge into the life of your dreams, I would LOVE to support you. The combination of subconscious healing, thought-work, and strategy that I offer inside my one on one coaching containers provides an immediate balm and endless space for shedding and birthing. Let’s hop on a call next week to talk about coaching and see if we’re a good match!
You deserve it.
with love + solidarity,
