What’s in your way?

What’s the feeling or thing that you notice is lingering, but you keep telling yourself that you don’t have time right now?

For me, it’s often allowing feelings of grief or sadness or prioritizing time for solitude and meditation.

“I don’t have time today, but I’ll make some time to sit with my feelings soon”

As if feelings are like Netflix– ready to stream when I am. LOL

 

My offering today is that it’s not more time that you need.

Feeling feelings doesn’t actually take long. Neither do most of the tasks that we avoid.

 

Our avoidance is likely deeper rooted than that.

Maybe there’s something we’re scared of– that’s often mine!

Or maybe a part of us doesn’t feel worthy of taking time for ourself when there’s so much else to do.

 

Today I invite you to follow the thread.

What’s underneath the thing that you’re avoiding?

What’s the need or fear?

 

And then I invite you to just hold it and be with it.

To send yourself infinite love.

 

Nothing needs to be fixed, because nothing is broken.

You are not broken.

You’re worthy of your own love, even when you don’t feel like you are.

Especially when you don’t feel like you are!

 

Love yourself well today, friend.

And give yourself some time and space to prioritize you.
