It's My Birthday!!!

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

And by “my birthday” I mean it’s my business’ birthday, and I am ready to celebrate!
 

Five years ago this week, Farris Consulting came to be. I had recently left my full-time job working in higher education, defended my dissertation and graduated with me Ed.D., and I was terrified but profoundly hopeful about what I imagined my life and this business could be.

I think it looked absolutely wild to everyone around me, but some part of me was determined to trust what I knew was possible.

So many of you supported me in those early days: bringing me to your campuses, referring me to colleagues, or trusting me as your coach.

Over the last five years you’ve witnessed the ebbs and flows and iterations of my work and how I make sense of all of it. There have been workshops at amazing Fortune 500 companies, countless educational institutions, and also many months of unemployment during the throws of COVID when many of you found your way to me & Jen Fry via our regular webinars. A perfect reminder of what can grow from the dark, hard moments! 

You’ve had a front row seat to my trainings and certifications to become a hypnotherapist and subconscious healer. And you’ve continued to support my work by hiring me, telling your friends and colleagues about me, and being in community with me. I am forever grateful for the ways that you have supported me in making my own dreams come true.

I write this sitting outside under the early morning sun.
